A few months back when I drove into Philadelphia I looked on street corners for the street signs. I didn’t see any. At first I thought it was just a corner without a sign, because I’ve seen that a bunch of times. only after about 3 blocks did I realize where the street signs were.

LOL, I’d have missed them too – thanks for pointing them out!
All Philly or just in that particular area?
@ Pat – I’m not sure
Holy Toledo! I had to go back and look a few times before I caught on. There they are, bigger than a car! Sometimes it’s the most obvious things that get overlooked.
Ann – I know. At first I was like where in the heck are the street signs. Then when I saw them I felt silly.
When I went back to my daughter’s wedding in Jersey near Philly, one of her new in-laws family has a Philly accent. I swear their accent is about as easy to figure out as trying to find the street signs.
Wow – I had to look a minute too. Once you know where they are, you realize that it’s a very clear way to mark the streets. Very readable, once you know where to look – LOL!
