We had no choice but to take Jules to the vet this past week.
He handled the trip in the carrier with no problem, chatting with me along the way.

When we got to the vet they took his temperature. Of course, with cats they can’t just swipe the thermometer across the forehead or put it in the ear like with children. He was not a happy camper. As soon as they finished with that he decided he’d be safer on higher ground, and leaped up to the top of the cabinet in the exam room. He looked down at the table with great disdain.

He then looked at me as if to say “you can’t possibly think I’m going to stay down there after that”. I tried to convince him the unpleasantries were over.

At which point he totally looked away, not wanting to hear anything more that I had to say.

UGH, going to the vet is so expensive! It was like $170 for 10 minutes.
My goodness, he doesn’t look happy at all.
He was a good sport until the temperature. I think that scared him.
Jules has purrsonality plus.
That he does.
He looks so cuddly!
Jules can be very cuddly, he’s super affectionate and has a very loud purr.
