Wildkin’s Nap Mats are sleeping bags for kids. Not just any old run-of-the-mill sleeping bags, either! Besides being the perfect size for your child, they come in many cute designs and are safety tested by a 3rd party to conform to, or exceed, U.S. flammability test requirements for sleeping bags.

I remember when my 6 kids were little, we tried different things for them when we wanted a sleeping bag. First, we just used a regular adult sleeping bag. Those were too heavy and bulky for a small child and were pretty much a disaster. Then Grandma bought the 2 oldest kids their very own child-sized sleeping bag! Those were much better, although they still would get tangled up in them and fuss that they were stuck!

Boy, if we only had Nap Mats by Wildkin back then! These sleeping bags for children are perfect in so many ways! One of the first things I noticed was that the “cover” was not zipped up on the side. The inside of the sleeping bag is a super soft fleece and while it is attached, it does not have a zipper on the side. This is a great feature! You just cover your child like it is a regular blanket and they won’t feel trapped and can roll over easily.

There is an attached pillow, too, and the pillow insert can be removed for when you put the Nap Mat in the washing machine. The Nap Mat rolls up neatly and has its own carrying strap attached. Now that my oldest son is a Dad himself, and I am the Grandma, I was really excited to bring the Nap Mat I received to review over for my grand daughter, Ava to try out!

Ava LOVED the Nap Mat! I chose a dinosaur design with a soft blue background. I was thinking it was a good design for boys or girls because, well, who doesn’t love dinosaurs? I would love to have some boys and girls Nap Mats to keep at my house for future sleepovers or camping trips! Ava had so much fun kissing the dinosaur’s faces, rolling around on the Nap Mat and putting her head on the pillow. She even used the blanket cover to play “Peekaboo!”

Whether your child likes super heros , space, butterflies or fairies, there is sure to be a Nap Mat they will love! Honestly, choosing the pattern was the hardest part! We will be taking our Nap Mat with us in a couple of weeks for a big family camping trip.
Check out Wildkin Nap Mats and tell me, which pattern is your favorite?

As a soon to be grandma, I need to get one of these for the new baby to have on hand when she is at my house!
My girls used to love curling up on the floor also! This would have been so handy!
Nap mat! Loving this. This would actually be a really great product for my daughter to take to preschool instead of the blanket and pillow that we currently send.
This looks like a great nap mat! As well as a fun play mat, I would love to get something like this for my little nephew, thanks for sharing this review.
OMG, that’s adorable! I’ve got to get one of these for my daughter.
I remember my youngest two’s kid sleeping blankets–Mickey Mouse whose head was a pillow and Winnie the Pooh much like a five foot stuffed animal.
