I still use my desktop computer, which runs on Windows. I mainly use it for email, because I don’t want some of my email on my desktop and some of my email on my laptop. And I don’t need thousands of email messages on both computers either. But, when I have six to eight windows open and need to use four to six different applications, nothing beats my Macbook Pro. I’m running Parallels on it, which allows me to run Windows applications. My oldest younger brother picks on Macs all of the time but the computers he uses don’t even compare to the Mac memory usage I get.
