I love online shopping. It brings the ability to shop to those that can’t get out for one reason or another, whether it be due to physical challenges, car problems or just not having enough time in the day. I particularly enjoy sites that offer a wide variety of merchandise that manage to retain some individuality. This week I learned about RedEnvelope, a site I wasn’t previously familiar with.
ABOUT REDENVELOPE

Launched in 1999, our mission remains to make gift giving for every occasion easy and fun.
The name RedEnvelope comes from a firmly held belief in Asian cultures that the color red is an auspicious symbol of happiness. Gifts are often presented in a simple red envelope – a timeless tradition that carries with it well wishes of prosperity, good fortune, appreciation and love.
From tokens of gratitude to expressions of love, as your partner in giving, RedEnvelope offers a unique and wide-ranging collection of thoughtful gifts for every occasion and everyone on your list — around the clock, all year round.
We only select quality products — many of which are exclusive to RedEnvelope — that are unusual, surprising and beautifully designed to ensure the gifts you give create a special moment when they are opened — whether it’s a knowing smile, heartfelt laughter, or a sentimental tear or two.
RedEnvelope is part of the Provide Commerce portfolio of high-quality gifting brands. Other Provide Commerce holdings include Proflowers, Cherry Moon Farms, Secret Spoon and Shari’s Berries.

RedEnvelope.com has a wide selection of unique gifts. They offer all sorts of great gifts for him and her (and yourself) including jewelry, flowers, gourmet foods, gadgets, baby, home decor, and photo frames and albums. Pricing is as diverse as the product offerings – I saw items there for as low as $19.95. Once you’ve found the gift you want to purchase you select the gift message and wrapping, and the date of delivery and you’re finished.
Here are some of the items I found while shopping that I especially liked.

Valentines Day Jewelry
RedEnvelope Love Letter Necklace
Love Letter Necklace

Give her a love letter she’ll keep close to her heart at all times. Our sterling-silver necklace features an envelope that opens and contains a removable love letter plaque. The words “I Love You” are engraved on the front and the back may be engraved with your name, or your true love’s name. Designed by waxing poetic, our necklace is timelessly romantic with a heart design on the front of the envelope.

RedEnvelope Love Stones
Reasons I Love You Stones

The reasons are infinite, and now nine of them are etched in stone. One side of each brushed-nickel token says “I love you” and the other bears a compelling reason, from “because you’re an inspiration” to “because I just do!” and “for always getting my jokes.” Comes in a red faux-suede pouch. Stones: approx. 1 3/8″L. Exclusively from RedEnvelope.
