The Wiggles Live On Tour 2012
See those smiling faces right up there? Those are The Wiggles. My youngest son has been a fan of The Wiggles for many, many years. So have I actually. My son loves to dance along with the music, and has been known to replay their songs on his iPod over and over and over and over and over, well you get the picture. We’ve never seen them live, but I’ve often thought about how bonkers my son would go if given the opportunity to do so. Well, if your kids love The Wiggles like mine does and you’ve thought about taking them to the live show, now is the time to do it. And yes, I do mean NOW. Why? Because their Celebration tour kicks off its trek across the USA this week. And because this is the last time the four original Wiggles will be performing live.
The Wiggles Live show is kicking off their Celebration USA tour this week. All four original Wiggles will be performing. Yes, Greg fans, that means that Greg will be back in his yellow shirt skivvy, singing in that fabulous voice that he has. Greg actually stopped performing years ago due to health issues, many parents and children alike were saddened. Sam, the Wiggle they brought in after Greg, did a great job but it just wasn’t the same for old time Wiggle fans like us. So the tour kicking off this week is very aptly named. After all,  21 years of entertaining children is a great reason to celebrate, don’t you think!
Before you panic, The Wiggles won’t be completely disappearing. Next year three new Wiggles – Emma, Lachlan and Simon –  will be introduced and will perform with Anthony. These three were hand picked by The Wiggles. Murray, Jeff and Greg will still be involved behind the scenes, working to help the new members offer the great songs and dances that we’ve come to expect and enjoy from The Wiggles.
Here’s a short video from The Wiggles that explains this a little better.

We’ll be catching this show in Philly in August. I absolutely cannot wait to see my son’s face light up when he sees The Wiggles. I’m hoping they allow dancing in the aisles because I’m sure that my son will want to.
If your child, or you yourself, is a fan of The Wiggles, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to see this show in a city near you.
