Having a family of 4 we go through a fair amount of toilet paper in this house. The brands I prefer are Charmin and Cottonelle, because they don’t hurt my butt. Today I saw a television commercial I’d never seen before. The commercial was for Charmin promoting two types of toilet paper – ultra strong and ultra soft. Now here’s what I don’t get. Wouldn’t you want a toilet paper that was both strong AND soft? I mean, noone wants to wipe their butt with sandpaper, and noone wants to use flimsy toilet paper either. Which is why I don’t understand why anyone would want to take branding in this direction. The company website says the strong leaves fewer pieces of paper behind, and that the soft is so soft you’ll want to use alot of it. No shit! It’s soft but not strong, so you’ll need alot of it. What absolute bs!
