Specially Wrapped Star Wars Stormtrooper-Themed Dodge and Viper Vehicles
In case you’ve totally missed all of the buzz, the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens is about to open in theaters. I have a new trailer to share with you, but before I do I want to share something else. If you rad often you know I love cars. Two of the current model cars that I would love to check out but haven’t had the opportunity include the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Challenger. Dodge is doing something really cool with those two cars right now – meaning now as in today, this weekend – in LA.
As a part of a partnership between FCA US and Disney and Lucasfilm, Dodge is taking a group of specially wrapped Dodge vehicles out onto the streets of LA for fans to see and have opportunities to take photos with. The vehicles will be patrolling Los Angeles-area streets Friday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 14. You can track vehicle locations in real time on Twitter using hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens. You’ll also be able to find the brand’s daily fan favorites on the Dodge Facebook and Instagram pages..
Fans can get their pictures taken with First Order Stormtrooper-themed white 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, plus a Kylo Ren-inspired black Dodge Viper ACR.
Lucasfilm first announced in August that it was collaborating with FCA US and six other global brands to promote “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” In November, the FIAT brand displayed a custom-painted Fiat 500e Stormtrooper, inspired by the armor of the First Order Legion, at the L.A. Auto Show.
You can learn more about Dodge vehicles on the Dodge website. You can also find Dodge on Facebook and Twitter.
In case you’ve missed it, here’s one of the trailers for the movie.

The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
