It’s cold and nasty here in Mid Atlantic Jersey. Ironic just how much this nor’easter’s windy, cold rains reminds me of the severe weather after Frankenstorm Hurricane Sandy. Luckily the electricity is still on and my creature comforts abound.
Our total electric home needs a modern heating upgrade. So for now the glowing fire in our cast iron stove must make due with some help. Long johns or janes for me, heavy socks, comfy sweats topped with a Sleep, Wear, Explore Original Sleepy works for me. Bet it can work for you too.

Sleepy is a three season sleeping bag with 300T diamond pressed polyester inner and shells filled with 200g per m2 Dupont Thermolite Extreme giving comfort and warmth without bulk and weight. Its extreme limit is -15 degrees. Use it at home and be warm and comfy relaxing or sleeping. Use it out and about camping or backpacking.
I like my creature comforts. My mantra is NO TENTS, NO PORTABLE JOHNS, INFLATABLE MATTRESS. Give me a big roomy mattress set any day (actually night). That’s why I never had any use for a sleeping bag until now. Today I modify my position. Just as Linus must have his blanket, I must have my Sleepy. It is the best blanket, cover up, and coat ever.
At home:
Tossin’ and turnin’; turnin’ and tossin’; a-tossin’ and turnin’ all night…problem no more. Totally zipped, I don’t even lose my covers since I am wearing them.
Dog barking to go out…problem no more. Unzipped armholes, mine out, unzipped bottom, zip cinched up, I let the dog out.
On the road:
Hubby’s driving with the window down makes me cold…problem no more. I hate cold hands, cold feet so I curl up in my seat inside my Sleepy.
The Original Sleepy is available in Men’s and Women’s Sizes Medium (up to 5′ 11″) and Large (up to 6′ 6″) as well as Kids Small (3′ 6″ – 5′ 3″) in pink, black, blue, green, orange, and white. I opted for Large rather than Medium because I like roomy almost as much as I like warm.

I love the idea of a wearable sleeping bag! The house can get cold, this would be great for the kids.
Being in a wheelchair means I’m usually always cold from poor circulation! This would be amazing to have in the winter time, especially for outside events! I would be able to keep my toes warm for once!
