Skin Care by Alana is a skincare company that carries many different brands of skincare. It is owned and run by Alana Mitchell, who has been in the beauty industry for the past 15 years and is a licensed Esthetician. She carries the best skincare products that she personally recommends for every type of skin or skin problem. For this review I chose one item and let my 2 daughters at home choose the rest.
Here’s what we chose and our experience:

Ilike Organic Skincare Lemon Cleansing Milk
8.4 ounces, retail price: $52
This is the item I chose. This cleanse is a very gentle one and has only a few ingredients. It has essential oils of lemon and lemon balm and vitamins B, C, and E. Together, these ingredients cleanse, purify and nourish your skin. To use, you gently rub a small amount onto your dry skin. You then rinse or wipe it off with a damp cloth. I like to let it soak into my skin for a minute or two and then use a clean, warm washcloth and place the cloth over my face to open my pores. then I gently wipe my face and I feel and look refreshed and ready for the day! This cleansing milk is good for all types of skin. the lemon in it even helps clear acne!

Youngblood Mimosa Lipstick
Retail price: $19
My 16 year old daughter chose this one. She usually wears a bold, deep red when she wears lipstick, but wanted to try a softer color. This is a mineral lipstick. It is made from all natural products and no animal products. It wears well, lasting for hours. It feels nice on your lips, not sloppy or dry. It has a nice sheen to it and Katja loved the color! This brand is used at many skincare and med-spas around the world. It is so gentle that it can be used for women with any skin condition or those who have had laser or chemical peels.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Pretty Naked Blush
Retail price: $35
My 23 year old daughter, Emma, chose this one. The color of this blush is made with colors from fruits and vegetables! This is a natural product filled with all kinds of good things, like antioxidants, essential oils and more. Emma has sensitive skin that reacts to many chemicals or even environmental changes. The color is subtle and looks very natural, just like a slight natural blush. You won’t look at someone wearing it and think they are wearing make-up, you’ll just think they have a pretty complexion. Emma is very fair and this wasn’t too bold on her. It looked beautiful and she was very happy with the results!

Glowminerals Cream Glaze Crayon (Chiffon color)
Retail price: $16
Emma also chose this one. This lip crayon is infused with essential oils, minerals and vitamins. It is also a natural product and not irritating to sensitive skin. It glides on smoothly and has a glossy finish, but in the color Emma chose, it doesn’t look shiny or too glossy, just natural and moist. It nourishes your lips and lasts for hours. When Emma came to her photo shoot wearing this crayon and the blush, I couldn’t even tell she was wearing it…but I realized she had a little more color in her face and a “glow”. She loved the natural look! You can wear it alone or over lipstick. Emma wore it alone.
