I’ve always had a thing for the number 66. Well, today is October 20 and there are 66 days until Christmas. I promised myself I’d start shopping earlier this year. I’d intended to start shopping in July or August and all of a sudden, poof it’s October. Time to get to work.
The holiday season means I’m shopping for a good number of people, which means it’s more important than ever that I be a good shopper and save money where possible. I can be a good shopper. Sometimes I forget to bring coupons and sales flyers with me when I head out to local retail stores. If I buy without them I waste money. If I don’t buy without them I waste time. Time is valuable and I just don’t have much of it to waste. There are other times where there is some sort of coupon that I don’t know about. Almost two weeks ago I shopped at a candle store in the mall, having no idea they had a great in-store coupon. I get so many emails I can’t keep up with most things, like coupons and sales, that come by email. So knowing my weaknesses it’s great when I learn about tools that can help me. Tools like the Shopular mobile coupon app.

  1. That is pretty awesome. I don’t normally use coupons because they are a major hassle, but this makes it sound easy!

  2. I love features that help me save time and money when I’m shopping. Seriously love those apps and use them frequently because I am SO not going to be driving all over tim buck too looking fro the best deals, nor do I do a lot of coupon clipping. But I do still like to save money.

  3. Bath and Body works is my little addition. I have a stock pile of the winter soaps. I love hearing about there specials.

  4. I just started using Shopular and I’m pretty impressed with how many different stores and brands they cover. It is so convenient to be able to pull up an ad in store.

  5. Most of my life I was a full time working mom so I got into the habit of shopping early–goal before November. Except for electronics (budgeted in) and Santa List gifts (kids constantly change) I still follow that guideline. Sales and coupons are my friends as is match price shopping.
