Here’s a fun new app from SeaWorld® Kids that I recently learned about. It may be designed for kids but I bet you’ll find it fun too! I’m really enjoying it!
Join us for a Turtle Trek underwater swimming adventure! Dive under the ocean with your baby turtle and swim as far as you possibly can.
Touch and tap to collect coins, discover treasure and meeting other sea animals. Watch out for those sharks or any other creatures that can stand in your way, those are the bad guys! Brought to you by SeaWorld® Kids, where imagination meets nature, Turtle Trek is a fun and engaging learning game for all kids to experience an ocean adventure.

At the beginning of the game you see an egg. You need to tap on it to hatch it.

Once you’ve hatched your turtle it’s time to head to the water and swim!

Swimming is pretty easy, just tap one finger quickly on the screen repeatedly and your turtle moves forward. Tap two fingers to make him come to a stop. In this game stop means stop swimming forward. If you stop your turtle he’ll drift downwards toward the bottom of the ocean and slowly drift forward a little.

Your little turtle is a cute and happy creature. Your job is to maneuver him through the water. There are lots of coins and different treasures to collect along the way. While swimming you hear some happy music. You can turn off the music if you prefer.

You have to keep him fed and help him gain lives. The grass that is his food is always on the bottom.

You also have to help him avoid other underwater creatures that can hurt him, like jellyfish and crabs.

You also need to steer your turtle over rocks, which can also hurt him.

Once in a while the turtle might get caught. This will harm him by decreasing his energy.

If that happens the turtle will be hurt but you are able to get free.

If your turtle runs into other creatures too often he won’t survive.

When you get to the end of a level you get treasure and meet a new creature.

You collect “cards” that show you a real photo and tell you information about that creature.

You can tell early on that there are lots of new creatures you’ll meet as you move through the game.

Before each level you have the opportunity to get upgrades. You can easily see how much they cost.

You might have collected enough to buy them. If not you can buy them at that time (which is a real purchase).

What you can’t see without clicking “buy” is if you have enough coins. Personally I hope as they update the app in the future they consider changing this. I know when I’m playing a game sometimes I won’t purchase one bonus because I’m saving the coins for another. It’s not a big deal, just something I’d find helpful personally.
Here’s a brief video that helps explain the game.
I’m really enjoying SeaWorld® Kids Turtle Trek™. This app is a great way to let kids have some fun and learn something about sea creatures at the same time. The colors are cheerful and the graphics bright and engaging.

Underwater ABCs™
Learning the alphabet is fun with Underwater ABCs™, an ocean adventure that helps your preschool aged child practice writing letters and handwriting.
Brought to you by SeaWorld®, where nature meets imagination, Underwater ABCs™ features colorful letters and playful music that helps your toddler-aged kids to learn the alphabet. Want to know the best part? Once your child traces through an entire letter, a special ocean creature whose name begins with the same letter will be displayed right under his or her finger!
Stars shine bright on each letter and lead the pathway to help your kids trace each letter. Follow the stars with your finger to disclose what creature will be shown next! Choose from both uppercase and lowercase letters to learn the entire alphabet. Skip past letters your child has already mastered or go back to letters your child may need to work on.
Underwater ABCs™ is a great way to practice writing and teach the lost art of handwriting to toddlers of preschool age. This engaging game takes learning to a whole new level of fun!
