REVIEW – See Kai Run Toddler Shoes

See Kai Run footwear was started in 2004 by a Seattle mom who was looking for sophisticated footwear for her son that promoted healthy growth and was also stylish. She couldn’t find what she was looking for, for she started her own company to create health promoting and stylish shoes for babies, toddlers and big kids!
The philosophy behind See Kai Run shoes is that children’s feet are very different than adult feet, they are constantly growing and changing. They have a team of professional footwear designers that create each shoe to be perfect for the age group of your child.

I let my daughter in law choose a pair for our toddler grand daughter, Ava. She chose the Kristen style sneaker in grey print. These are adorable classic sneakers with faux elastic laces, hook and loop closure and rubber toe cap for stability and protection. They are lightweight for little ones who are just getting used to pulling their own body weight around and have a removable(for cleaning) leather insole.

I was also very impressed that See Kai Run shoes have been awarded the American Podiatric Medical Associations prestigious Seal of Acceptance. We have a lot of foot problems in our family and I’m sure it helps to wear high quality and proper fitting shoes during the important growing up years.

The shoes were extremely well made. They had sturdy stitching and the rubber around them was not loose in any areas like cheaper shoes are. The light grey print with pink rubber cap is really cute and feminine and the hook and loop closure makes it easy for Lindsay and Josh to put Ava’s shoes on while she is in constant motion!
Now, I have to tell you how Ava reacted! When the shoes arrived in the mail she was very excited. She walked around holding them and saying, “shoes!” When they were on her feet, she ran around their apartment squealing and did not want to take them off! My daughter in law sent me a video of Ava dancing in her new shoes and she would lift her feet up as she was dancing, trying to look at them.
