I love this time of year when the grand kids can get outdoors and play on the slide, swings and even in a fun outdoor sandbox, however, it’s also a rainy time of year here for us. Boy do the kids ever track in sand and mud after we have a shower. One day it’ll be beautiful and sunny, and the next few days it will be raining cats and dogs and Ninja Turtles, according to Adrian. I don’t know what it is with kids and sand but the two seem to go together. Wouldn’t it be fun if we could bring the sand indoors without making a mess?
During our rainy season, I have to find something fun for the kids to play with indoors or they’ll drive me nutso with their fussing and fighting. Well I’ve found it and I’m going to stock up on Sands Alive! Glow, mainly because it’s no mess and bacteria free but also because it’s proved to be so much fun for my neighbors son Adrian that I know my grands will love it as well. The little stinker was a little bored this weekend and I was trying to help his {single} mommy out by giving him something to do. She works 60+ hours a week and is just plum exhausted by the weekend.
Before I let Adrian play with the Sands Alive! Glow, I opened the sand package to let it breathe. I also put it outdoors in the sunlight while I waited so it would glow for him that night when he took it indoors.
He. Had. A. Blast. and mommie got a little break while he played.
The Sands Alive! Glow kit comes with everything shown.
The weather has been beautiful this weekend so he has been dragging his little table outdoors to play with his Sands Alive! Glow, and at night his mom said he plays with it indoors until bed time.
The Sands Alive! Glow kit includes the two tools that you see. The Sands Alive! Sand-Charging glasses and the Sands Alive! Glow Tool. Adrian can use the Glow Tool to draw in the sand and the Sand-Charging Glasses to transform the sand.
You can purchase Sands Alive! Glow at most of your favorite shopping stores and is recommended for ages 3+. I really love toys like Sands Alive! Glow that allows and promotes kids to use their imagination for creative play.
