REVIEW – Pottery Barn Kids Halloween Luminaries

I was recently contacted regarding Pottery Barn Kids. Although I remember that my Mom occasionally took us in to Pottery Barn over in the next town when I was growing up, I could not for the life of me remember what they had. Since I couldn’t remember and didn’t feel like asking my Mom and opening myself up to a 30 minute long answer, I determined that they must have had pottery, based on the name. It’s been more then 30 years after all. I decided to take a quick look through the Pottery Barn Kids atalog. Boy do they have a lot of nice stuff, including some really neat kids Halloween decorations. I was really drawn to the Halloween Luminaries.
ABOUT POTTERY BARN KIDS HALLOWEEN LUMINARIES

We’ve taken traditional luminarias and designed them to be safe around children. For lining the path to your door, your front step, or display in a window, place a flameless candle in each of our papier-mâché designs. Water-resistant coating makes them suitable for short-term outdoor use. Choose from Skull, Pumpkin, Jumbo Pumpkin, Cat, Owl, or Ghost.

MY THOUGHTS
I received two Halloween Luminaries, the Cat and the Skull. Both of them looked great, even without lights in them. Papier-mache tht I made as a child never looked this good, these are colorful and really attractive. The hand-painted details give them the perfect finishing touch. I used battery operated tea lights inside and they light up nicely. I would definitely recommend these. I think these are perfect holiday decorations, as they are well made, look great and won’t bank buying them.
