MY THOUGHTS
I received samples of the Travel Size SPORT SPF 30 & 50, Kids, and Water BABIES lotions as well as the Sport Lip Balm SPF 30 for review in exchange for my honest opinions. I’ll be honest: I used to buy cheaper store-brand versions of SPF lotions and lip balms every summer…and always find myself disappointed in their coverage (or lack thereof). I almost always come back from the beach or city pool with a nasty sunburn, as do my kids, because our lotion wears off as we swim and even reapplying doesn’t help.
I’ve learned my lesson. When it comes to sun protection, cheaper isn’t the way to go. And at $3.99 as a suggested retail price for each of the different travel size lotions, I no longer have to stress about the price – these are a steal! The size is more than enough to last me my whole vacation to Florida in a month, yet they meet the TSA’s guidelines for liquids and are still small enough to fit inside the diaper bag. With an SPF of 50 for the kids, I know they’ll be getting the right amount of UVA/UVB protection. I also love the Sport Lip Balm – my daughter’s lips are super-sensitive to any slight change in weather, so this will definitely help keep her lips soft and protected. It’s even water resistant for up to 80 minutes, so I don’t have to worry about constantly re-applying! At $2.99, the Sport Lip Balm is perfectly priced for an easy addition to your sun protection items.

We love coppertone baby! Being out here on the gulf coast I am no stranger to sunscreen, that is for sure.

The smell of Coppertone Water Babies still reminds me of when I was a little kid!
Bring on the 50 SPF! I am the sun protection Nazi. 😉
As someone who has lived on the beach my ENTIRE life – Coppertone is a STAPLE around here! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
I love using Coppertone for my family! The store brands always end up irritating my skin and just don’t work quite as well.
Sounds like I need to pick some up before Brandcation. You’re right, I always end up burnt with cheaper brands.
