We love music. We listen to it all of the time, either on the stereo, computer, television or our iPods. I am on the computer a lot so I’m always looking for a better headphone. OUR THOUGHTS
The Able Planet NC300B headphones were different than other headphones I’ve tried in two respects. First, they require a AAA battery (included) to power them. Second, the actual earphones are sort of recessed. It makes for an entirely different sound than anything else I’ve tried. The earphones themselves are a little stiffer than I prefer but I did get used to it after a couple of days and had no comfort issues. These headphones are over the head earphones, which I prefer over earbuds. The sound is exceptional. I can usually hear background voices from around the house and from the television with all of our other headphones but the Able Planet headphones blocked it all out. It was nice, hearing just music. The sound is very full and is not lacking in bass, something I appreciate because I want my music to sound the way I like it when I listen to it on the stereo. A neat feature is that the long cord on these headphones contains a volume control, so you don’t have to adjust volume on the computer or iPod. I liked that the headphones come in a case, protecting them at home or while traveling. The case also keeps the stereo and airplane adapters (both included) in one place so they’re not lost. I really liked these headphones. I asked my son TJ to listen to his music using them and I haven’t seen them since. That’s a big thumbs up for him.
