I hope you watched the third and final segment of Starr X’d Lovers on One Life To Live yesterday cause boy was it great! Lots of good stuff going on!
Starr was shocked to see Cole arrive in a police car in a tux for the Prom. They agree that they disagree on some things, like if Starr’s father Todd pushed Cole’s mother Marty causing her to lose her baby, but will try against the odds to work things out.
Darren is still trying to win Destiny over. She holds her ground but seems to be wavering. Darren did a fun cover of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”.
Caught with their pants down! That applies to a couple of people, literally and figuratively. Langston can‘t reach Ford on the phone so goes to his apartment. She walks in on Ford and the pizza girl. He assures her that what she walked in on isn’t what she thinks. He continues to explain that this is the first time he’s cheated (LYING DOG) and it meant nothing. Will she believe him? Please wake up Langston! Markko is left alone at the Prom. While editing some video he comes across the footage where Destiny and Matthew are discussing Langston’s cheating. He doesn’t want to believe it but must when he walks in on Ford and Langston kissing. Markko is devastated. What will he do now? What will Ford do now that he’s got the girl? What will Langston do now that she’s been caught? What will Starr think when she finds Langston lied to her again, swearing on their friendship?
Layla’s had enough of Jessica’s behavior, especially when it’s announced that Jessica and Cristian are Prom King and Queen. Despite Cristian’s assurance that he cares only for her and not Jessica, Layla storms out. He chases after her, with Jessica spying nearby. She is crushed when she sees Cristian take a ring out of his pocket and propose to Layla.
I loved the cover of Battlefield done by Layla, Starr and Langston. It was my favorite song of the day.
Some people may not be able to work things out. Marty comes clean and gives John the letter from Natalie asking him to meet her at Rodi’s at midnight. She breaks off her relationship with John. By that time midnight has passed and Natalie is alone at Rodi’s. Roxy convinces her that she needs to talk to John face to face. As she arrives she sees John and Marty kissing. You and I know that they are kissing goodbye but does she… Will she leave for England?
Lots of stories coming to a head now. The good news is that there was no “To Be Continued” at the end of the episode. If you find you must know how these stories end, tune in to ABC any weekday afternoon. Then stop by and visit with me – I’m always looking for fellow soap fans to chat with.

I taped the three episodes. Lucky I did for all the interruptions that I had. Enjoyable change and better choreographed than the last two. Song choices solid on–originals worthy of the listen and covers acceptable. Brody’s songs were strained at best. Starr’s easy and pleasant. I see a great career in the future for Kristen. With that said, I hope we get more adult plot lines in focus. Most days it seems like the Disney channel but almost X-rated. The plot involving Hannah mirrors one a couple of years ago with Ray and his daughter. It didn’t work for me that time around; it isn’t either for me again.
By last two I mean musicals of 2002 and 2007.
