When I got Dobby in January he was really tiny. We actually had to put a sweater on him when he went outside. At first I got a cute hoodie, which he was wearing in the picture above. He outgrew that almost immediately. Still tiny, I bought a cute dog costume with a lion head on the hoodie that I found on sale. It was winter and was never intended to be a costume for him, I was just trying to keep him a little warmer when he went outside. It didn’t fit him at all, so I put it on the cat. The cat was not amused.
Pets in costumes can be very cute. I’m contemplating getting a costume for Dobby for Halloween this year. I just haven’t found the right one yet. If you’re dressing your puppy or dog up for Halloween you might be interested in the contest that Old Mother Hubbard has going on right now.
