NUK And Gerber Graduates
NUK and Gerber Graduates are continually working to improve product design for babies and toddlers and often introduce updated designs and new products. I had the opportunity to check out some of their latest.
The Nuk Orthodontic Pacifier and Orthodontic Bottle.
NUK Bottles and PacifiersThe Nuk Orthodontic Pacifier and Orthodontic Bottle have a very cute design and are BPA free. We tried the pacifiers right away with BG and since we were teething he loved chomping on both pacifiers at the same time. The orthodontic nipple promotes healthy oral development and the angled bottom maximizes tongue movement. The true orthodontic nipple naturally fits baby’s mouth and helps to soothe and comfort baby. The pacifiers are made of silicone and are dishwasher safe on the top-rack. I really like the quality to the pacifiers and for a baby that doesn’t really use pacifiers he really enjoyed them.
Nuk Orthodontic Pacifier are available in sizes 0-6m and 6-18m and can be found at retailers such as Target, Walmart, Babies R Us, and Amazon.com
Normally BG is exclusively breastfed but on an occasion he takes a bottle. On this day I had pumped 4 oz and used this bottle instead of our normal bottle. BG at first chewed on it then started drinking out of it. He really didn’t seem to mind the difference from me to the bottle. You have to make sure you give it to your baby the correct way so that the orthodontic nipple is the right direction in the babies mouth. The asymmetrical nipple design encourages proper jaw positioning and the orthodontic nipple angles up to reinforce correct tongue movement. The bottles have are dishwasher safe. The silicone nipple has a unique drinking hole on the top side of the nipple that is designed to aid digestion, and the 1-piece Air System helps prevent colic, spit-up and gas. The bottle comes with a plastic cap. I personally had no use for the cap at that time but it would come in handy if traveling. Overall BG really liked both products. Happy baby, happy mommy!
NUK® Orthodontic Bottles coordinate with orthodontic pacifiers and learner cups. They are available in 5 oz and 10 oz sizes and are available at retailers such as Walmart, Target & Amazon.com.
Gerber Graduates Sip CupsThe Gerber Graduate Sip Cup.
R was very excited to try the BPA free Gerber Graduate Sip Cup, which is guaranteed to be 100% leak-proof, spill-proof, and break-proof. This is great since she is still attempting to use a bottle. The cup’s flat, spoutless, rim is designed to be similar to that of the design of an adult cup in order to ease transition from bottle to cup. The design is very cute and it has a metallic look to it. On the lid the non spill is an inserted piece. Ours fell out once so I recommend really pushing on it making sure it is in. Also on the top of the cup is a little arrow indicator on which way to put the top on so it locks, which is a nice feature. The cup’s ArcticWrap insulation helps keep drinks cool up to 6 hours. R drank out of it on and off for about 3 and her juice definitely hadn’t dropped to room temp. Overall this is a very cute cup and a great concept on keeping beverages cooler longer. The cup is dishwasher safe.
The 9 oz Gerber Graduates Advance Developmental Insulated Cup-Like Rim Cups are designed for ages 24 months+. They are available with designs for both boys and girls, and come in 1 and 2 packs. They can be purchased at retailers such as Walmart, Target and Amazon.com

  1. Both the Nuk and Gerber brand cups are great. We love them. My kids are getting older but I do like letting them still use sippy cups. It is just so less messy. I don’t like taking them apart to clean them and matching pieces back up 🙂

  2. NUK has great products. We really have used them a lot while my kids were little and even with my 3 year old we still have some cups she uses. Easy to clean and easy to use!
