Pets are furry members of our family. Much as we keep our children’s favorite snacks in the cabinet, we also keep our dog’s favorite snacks in the jar on the counter. Our Dobby loves treats. Being a canine member of the family, he gets his fair share of them. Actually, he probably gets more than his fair share of them if we’re being honest. You see, we all like to give Dobby treats because we love him and know how much he enjoys them. Just like a child knows what makes a parent respond, so do dogs. If we walk into the kitchen and we’re anywhere near the treat jar, Dobby will trot in and sit down and ask for a treat.
Dobby likes many types of treats, but his favorites are flavorful treats that are on the softer and chewier side, sort of like people food. Nudges® Dog Treats are the type of treats I am talking about. Nudges® Grillers and Sizzlers are “human inspired” dog treats. If you’ve ever had guests gather around the grill waiting for that first mouthwatering piece, that’s the same reaction that Dobby has to Nudges®. Nudges® are basically the canine version of that big juicy burger or piece of grilled chicken that you can’t wait to sink your teeth into.

Nudges® Dog Treats are sold in Walmart (in the store and online). I picked up two bags on my most recent trip to the store – Nudges® Sizzlers Dog Treats Made with Real Chicken Bacon and Nudges® Grillers Dog Treats Made with Real Chicken. These are super tender, making them suitable as a treat or even for training since they can be easily torn into smaller pieces. Dobby comes running for these much more quickly than he does hard treats, I think the scent and texture really make him happy. The fact that they are made with natural ingredients and are a source of protein make me happy. So, serving them is a win-win.

  1. So so so cute! My dogs actually do nudge me for treats, love that your dog looks so happy too. Gotta find these for my boys!

  2. Our Baxter is crazy over Nudges Dog Treats, too. And so are we! I appreciate that they are all natural and made in the USA! 🙂

  3. Our dog is an important part of our family and also gets her share of treats.
I like that these are healthy treats, as well as having substantial size for her to take away and sit by herself to nibble on!

  4. These look great! I’m sure our pups would love a new treat to try out! We are always giving them new options so we will have to check these out!

  5. My dog isn’t as young as she used to be. Soft and chewy treats are a must for us now. Need to try Nudges for a little something special.

  6. We acquired a cat and he knows the pet treat location too, lol. I think it’s fun to spoil ’em a bit here and there. We’ll be getting a puppy soon (maybe a Christmas present for the kids). I’ll remember the brand.

  7. I have 2 dogs with a large gap in ages. One big and one small so I always look for treats that will work for both of them. Sometimes it is hard because my oldest has super sensitive stomach and can’t handle most things.

  8. These sound like great treats. My boy loves getting treats, he will shake hands and give kisses for treats lol.
