We are real people. Let me explain. We have what we have. We don’t pretend to have what we don’t have. We work hard and most of the time are able to make a living and squeak by. We have to stay within a budget. Most of the time we don’t have “extra” money. (Not that there even is such a thing as extra money.) So, we have to be mindful of how and where we spend our money, even when it comes to things like food for our pets, who we love dearly and consider members of the family.
For over 30 years, Nature’s Recipe has worked to provide pets with ideal nutrition drawn from nature’s inherent goodness. They craft their recipes to make sure Every Ingredient Countsâ„¢, and tailor the food to provide specific nutritional or functional  benefits for your pet’s particular stage of life. Foods designed with such care, foods that contain no artificial colors or preservatives, are foods that often bring the term expensive to mind. Nature’s Recipe is working to break that stereotype by offering affordable healthy pet food for every stage of life.
Just like people, pets go through different stages of life. Dogs begin life as puppies, who are active and require certain things to help them grow. Adult dogs have different nutritional needs, which will allow them to maintain their lifestyle while promoting healthy skin and weight. Senior dogs require different food still, food which will help maintain healthy bones and aid in proper digestion. Nature’s Recipe offers a number of different natural dog food formulations, containing different proteins including chicken, lamb, salmon and duck. They also offer a grain-free formula.
Dobby has eaten the Nature’s Recipe Chicken Meal and Rice recipe for a month now. He eats his daily meals, which consist of the dry food, eagerly. For a treat, sometimes we give him one of the wet foods like the Stew.
The first time I fed it to him we couldn’t help but be surprised at how much it looked like real people’s stew, with chunks of meat, vegetables and rice.
No matter what stage of life your dog is in, Nature’s Recipe has a healthy pet food for them that doesn’t come with the ridiculously healthy price tag you might expect from a premium food. In addition to dog food, the brand also offers cat food. You can purchase Nature’s Recipe online at PetSmart.com or in your local PetSmart store.

Sounds like some pretty awesome dog food. I bet Milo would love it.
This sounds like a great brand of dog food. I will share this with my friends and family that have pets.
This sounds like a great food. I’m always looking for quality foods that won’t break my bank. Thanks!
This sounds like a great pet food to try out. I like that they have a grain-free option too. That would be worth a shot.
I love how many special varieties Nature’s Recipe seems to offer. I definitely appreciate the fact that it’s affordable too!
Your dog is adorable! Sounds like you picked a great dog food…and it really does look like people food!
It’s a good feeling to find the right, affordable food for pets. Dobby looks so happy to have a can of stew as a treat, and looks very healthy, too.
This sounds like a great pet food. We all want the very best for our pets.
Dog food sure can add up, especially with 3 hungry dogs in my house! It’s nice to know they have healthy and even grain-free options that are affordable!
That really does look like a stew I would have on my own table. It is great to know that this food is affordable.
I think your reminder about food changing through a dog’s life is key. They have stages like humans and it’s great to have supportive food choices for each stage.
We were just saying that we need to try a new food for our dog. We will have to check this one out for him.
There was a time when we bought custom, prescription dog food. And then we had kids and had to be more realistic with our budget. As a pet owner, I want the best for my dog without having to take out loans to pay for it!
This sounds like a great Dog food brand. I will have to share this with my Sister. She has two little dogs.
Sweet dog!! Mine two are so picky, I’m still trying to find the right pet food to feed them.
This looks like quality dog food! A good balance of ingredients and nutrients, definitely a good brand to consider
My daughter has two dogs, Elvis and Ringo. They LOVE Nature’s recipe dog food!
Good kibble is the dog food of choice around here supplemented by broth or gravy sporadicallyy and table scraps rarely.
