Growing up my Mom always described our family as working class poor. In general, by this she meant she worked hard to get by, and didn’t have much “extra” money after meeting our obligations (if she was in fact able to meet them). My family is the same. This time around I had a bit of a surprise. I looked in the grocery store. Wanting to look beyond store brands, I also looked in PetSmart. If you’ve ever shopped PetSmart, you know they have a lot of different brands and products. One brand that I wasn’t familiar with is Nature’s Recipe®.

The Nature’s Recipe food was almost the same price as some of the brands that aren’t natural that are sold in the grocery store.

I’ll have check out Nature’s Recipe. I’ve never heard of it before, but a dog food with great ingredients and a great price sounds awesome.
It’s true, every ingredient does count. I always look for grain-free food for our dog.
We currently feed my pups a very strict diet, but the cost of food is outrageous. I’ll definitely look into Natures recipe and compare!
Before I got our dog Nacho, I thought most dog foods were created equal! Boy was I wrong! I love that Nature’s Recipe has great ingredients at a great price!

That’s good to know. So much of the healthier choices are so expensive! I’ve seen food for $80 a bag! I like having an affordable option.

It’s great to know that this is an affordable option for natural food. We always try to feed our dogs the best food for them.
Price and ingredients do count. The healthier the food we are able to feed our pets the healthier they will be. That translates into lower and less frequent vet bills.

I like to give my pets the best food possible but something it is out of my price range as well. I am glad there is a brand that is good and affordable.
We all try to save where we can, but I do want my family to eat well. That includes my pup! I need to check the Nature’s Recipe out.
I love that this is a good price. My husband and I, like you, have a tough time with our budget occasionally. This would help me feel like I am still able to give my dog good food!
