If you could ask a rock musician any one reasonable question that wasn’t about music, what would it be?
Favorite food? Favorite movie? Favorite tv show? Something on life on the road?
I’m curious to hear the kinds of things that interest you, so let’s hear it.
I would like to know what era other than the present time they would like to live in and why? That usually tells me more about their likes than if I just ask what is your favorite dish.

I would want to know what inspires them.
I would ask, “If you could have any job other than being a rock musician, what would it be?”
I think it would be interesting to ask a musician from a past era about his or her opinion of music today. My favorite musician of all time is John Lennon… what I wouldn’t give to be able to sit down with him and ask him that question!

I would be interested to ask a rock musician how they feel their life has changed since becoming famous. Are they still able to have a social life?

I always like to know what a musician likes to listen to!
What is their inspiration?
How about inspiration? What inspires them to make the music they make? (Okay maybe that’s a little about music)
I would ask David Bowie how he feels about the music trends these days. I really value his journey and am curious how he feels about the current music.
I am not really a music fan – I know surprising. But, I would probably ask them what made them get into the music industry.
How fun! You know what questions I would like to ask? What are their favorite bands and favorite songs! I find that really cool to learn!
I think it would be interesting to know what they would be doing if they weren’t a musician. I bet you’d get some surprising answers!
I don’t listen to rock. But it would probably be what did they want to be when they were 10?
I’d be too busy staring.
I’d love to know what they would do for a living if they weren’t rock stars!
I would like to know what life is like on the road. I know sometimes touring musicians are away from home for weeks and months at a time. So it would be cool to know what they do to get by.
I would ask: do you have any regrets in life?
I would like to ask when in their life did they know music was their thing.
I recently reviewed a country music concert and I was hoping to be able to speak with any of the guys but I couldn’t figure out what to ask if I did meet them. I guess I’d just ask how they go about daily life with all the chaos of being famous.
If I could ask any question I wanted, I would ask how they deal with the pressures that come with being famous.
I would likely ask them why most of their fellow rock friends turn to drugs when they seemingly “got the life”.
What do they like to do on their down time, when they are away from music..
I would ask about favorite books or who they wanted to be when they were kids.
What would they be if they were not a musician?
My son is a musician, he has been writing and playing music for years, and I know he feels that music is his release from life, so I would want to ask, what, other than music, takes them away, relaxes them, makes them feel good about life in general, and if music was not a choice, what would they do to feel the way making music makes them feel.
I would ask Jon Bon Jovi what he does to relax and not think about his busy job.
I also like Kristin’s question about how do they cope with the changes in their life. Interesting food for thought!
I would probably ask how he balances his life on the road with raising a family
My question for them will be, “at what age are you going to retire from singing and what are your plans after?”
I would like to ask one of the old timers what they think of today’s music compared to back in the day.
I’m curious about their favorite vacation spots or ways to vacation: beach, skiing, etc.
I want to know what TV shows they watch and what junk food they eat
I would ask how they balance home life while being on the road.
I would ask Bret Michaels how he does it to deal with his diabetes when living a normal life I find it hard to control.. I could not imagine having to be on the road, tv shows, concerts and all the publicity he does.. I need some good tips
How do you relax?
I love Brett Michaels and would LOVE to ask him how he does it all between the Music, the family, TV shows and then his health problems.. Totally want to know and soo inspiring
The Doors are my all time favorite band, and if Jim Morrison came back to life I would ask him what really happened – how did he die?
I would love to know where they find inspiration and where they go to create.
I love finding new bands and music to listen to. I am actually going to this huge music summit next week and I am so excited to hear so many bands that are new to me!
