I love my puppy Dobby. He’s five months old today. He’s still teething, and the teeth he has are very, very sharp. I don’t like it when he play bites. If you put anything near his mouth he thinks it’s a toy and starts to play. Getting a toothbrush in there would only succeed if I were trying to give it to him as a snack. Quite frankly, while I know that dogs do need dental care, it isn’t happening here at the present time. I received samples of the mini and small/medium varieties of Milk-Bone Brushing Chews. We started with the mini, which turned out to be the best size for Dobby right now.
Milk-Bone® offers people like me an easy and affordable way to help keep our dog’s teeth clean. They look a lot like dog treats, and are shaped like a little dog bone. They don’t feel like a dog treat though. Milk-Bone Brushing Chews are pretty hard to the touch. They have little bumps and grooves on the surface. Minis are intended for dogs over six months old that weigh 5-24 pounds. The small/medium size are intended for dogs over six months old that weigh 25-74 pounds.
Dobby really enjoys the Milk-Bone brushing Chews. To him they’re just a treat, something he gets for being a good boy. He has no idea that they’re good for him or the health of his mouth. He only knows that they’re treats and they taste good. Most days one treat lasts him about 6-7 minutes.

I did try once and that was my lesson learned quickly. Now the vet techs do it and my dog doesn’t seem to mind I guess I just didn’t have the special touch.
One of my dog allows me to brush her teeth, the other one does not.
We’ve tried to brush our dog’s teeth and it turned out good. Usually hub is the one who does the job once a week.

I did try to brush my dog’s teeth a few weeks ago because she has some pretty nasty plague buildup. It didn’t work out so well. She loves eating goodies but refuses to chew on bones for some reason.

I have tried to brush my dog rascal’s teeth and it didn’t turn out to well. I do try to give him chew toys or treats that help brush his teeth while he destroys whatever it is.

I have brushed my dogs teeth and I do try to do it every so often. Even though i should do it more. She doesn’t seem to mind it too much. She likes the taste of the paste. So i think she thinks of it as a treat!
I certainly have !!! She doesn’t like it to well! I have been trying to find something that is easier and gets a good clean for her. Her health is just as important as mine own ,she is family ! So I would love to try the Milk-bone Brushing Chews !
