I asked hubby this morning to please try and look at the wound again today when the nurse came to change the wet to dry dressing to see if he could stomach looking at it. So she comes this afternoon and takes the old dressing off and cleans the wound. (At this point I take another picture. I know, eww.) Hubby came over to the couch and lo and behold, he is able to look at it. He watched how the nurse did the dressing change, and said he’s willing to help. So tomorro he’s going to try it while the nurse is here and watching.
