REVIEW – Jewlr Personalized Jewelry

Mother’s Day is in a month. Graduation and wedding season is right around the corner as well. They are all occasions that are often celebrated with special gifts. As far as special gifts go, personalized items are at the top of the list. They take time and thought and sentiment to create. The site is easy to shop, and allows you to find the perfect piece to tell your own special story. I decided that I wanted to create something celebrating my two greatest loves, my sons.
I really wanted to create a mother’s ring. So, I spent a solid hour looking at what seemed to be at least one or two hundred different mother’s rings. What a huge variety! There were rings of all different shapes, sizes and designs. In the end I decided to go with an Auroral Infinity mother’s ring.

Once I’d decided on which ring I wanted, then I had to decide what metal I wanted the ring to be – sterling silver, 10k rose gold, 10k white gold, 10k yellow gold, 14k rose gold, 14k white gold, or 14k yellow gold. I went with the sterling silver. Next I selected the stones. I went with birthstones for July and November, the months my boys were born. I chose to go with Swarovski zirconia stones, genuine stones were also available. And last but not least, I had the ring engraved with both of my boys names. Something I really appreciated about the site’s design process is that it lets you see what your ring will look like as you design it. This was especially helpful when I was deciding what font to have the boys names done in.

While browsing the site I also found a necklace that I really liked. I was able to customize the Triple Heart Infinity Pendant with my choice of metal and stones in the same way I customized my mothers ring. The pendant comes with either a 16 or 18 inch cable chain. Being large and not liking anything super tight around my neck, I went with the 18 inch chain.

Another aspect of the site that I found very helpful is that it showed the size of many of the items. The size was shown relative to an item we all relate to – coins.

My two pieces of jewelry arrived looking exactly as they had on the website. Each piece had been placed safely on a cushioned pillow inside of a black jewelry case, which had in turn been placed inside a Jewlr branded box.

Having been unsure of the size ring I needed, I’d had a local jeweler measure my finger while I was in his store not long before. I had been a bit concerned about the fit of the ring, since I was ordering it over the internet and unable to try it on in a store as I would if I were purchasing in a brick and mortar store. I need not have been worried, as the ring was precisely the size I had selected and fit exactly as it should. I am crazy over this ring, and have worn it every single day since I received it.

I love the necklace. The length is sufficient, but I am considering getting a slightly longer chain for it so that people can see it a little better. Folks that have seen it noticed that it matched my mothers ring and complimented both pieces.
