Is it really possible to be a pregnant virgin? With Jane Villanueva anything seems to be possible with her. She promised her grandmother that she would save herself until her wedding night. She has kept that promise even up until she finds out that she is pregnant.
Set in Miami, Jane lives with her mother and grandmother while working at a local hotel. Come to find out the hotel is owned by her crush from five years ago. It was only one kiss, but something she has had in the back of her memories ever since. Jane has never met her father, and with a somewhat ‘wild’ mother, and a very religious grandma her life is anything but dull. Her fiance is a police detective and has agreed to ‘wait until their wedding night’.

Her whole plan is shattered when a doctor mistakenly artificially inseminates her during a checkup. Then to make matters worse, the biological donor is a married man, a former playboy as well as a cancer survivor. This is one show that will keep you guessing and when you think things can’t get worse….they do.
I really enjoyed this whole series. I couldn’t wait to watch each episode, one after another. I can’t wait until season 2 is on blu-ray. This release contains all 22 episodes of the first season plus never-before-seen featurettes and much more!
You can purchase Season 1 on Amazon.

Interesting premise as well as malpractice medicine.
I saw this advertised on TV but I never caught it. I think I’ll have a look for it as it sounds interesting.
I caught a few episodes of Jane the Virgin on Hulu a while back and thought it was an interesting show! Would love to catch up on it and think Season 1 would make a great addition to my DVD collection!
I haven’t heard of this, but it sounds cute! I think it would be a fun show for me to watch when it’s the end of the day and I want some ‘me’ time 🙂
This sounds like a perfect invite the girlfriends over, make some good food and sit and watch a movie night.
OH my gosh, I was just thinking, well it can’t get much worse. Then you said it does, lol. A trainwreck you can’t look away from? 🙂
