I bet you’re wondering why I’m posting about sunscreen in March. I mean, it’s 30 degrees out tonight, right? Right. Well, just because it isn’t warm doesn’t mean the sun rays aren’t something to concern ourselves with. After all, snow reflects 80% of the sun’s rays, making you just as susceptible to sun damage on the slopes as you are on the beach. Your child might be starting a spring sport. You might be planning a little spring vacation. No matter where you are now or where you’re going, remember that itโs important to protect the whole family from UV damage no matter the temperature. Itโs never too early to apply sunscreen!

With so many diagnosis of skin cancer, good sun protection is a must.
I have totally had a sunburn in the middle of the winter before. This happened while sledding all day!
I think I remember hearing years ago that the sun reflects more strongly off of snow then ground and makes it easier to burn.
We are definitely a Coppertone Family! ๐
You know I’ve never tried Coppertone products before. We willl be vacationing in Fl. this summer and I will have to give it a try. Looks like they have the entire family covered.
I think it’s a common misconception that just because it’s winter people think they don’t need sunscreen! I forget a lot myself! Thanks for the reminder ๐
