Time to share some more good stuff from my home, the state of New Jersey. Today I read about a disabled single Mom from Burlington, NJ that is building herself a new life. Kimberly Carnevale is raising a child alone, runs an award winning nonprofit service dog educational program called Canine and Abled, and has overcome a traumatic physical attack and homelessness, all while battling Multiple Sclerosis. She’s found an unexpected new career in motivational speaking, and it all began because she posting some articles on classified sites like Craigslist hoping that others would benefit from her story. In buying her daughter some candy she really couldn’t afford she allowed herself to heal and open her heart, which provided her the inspiration for her writing. I’m glad to see that Kimberly is healing and doing so well, and hope they continue to do so.
