I took these pictures (and a bunch more) from about 32,000 feet on the flight home from LA to Jersey. What are these things? I saw them all over the place.

I have no clue what they are in your pic.
Thanks for visiting Larry!
I’ve seen things like that too when flying but I’m not sure what they are.
The flight home was a long ne but we had great weather and it was afternoon so it was interesting to watch the country underneath.
The Agronomist in me is saying that they are freshly hoed fields ready for seeding… Especially the top one! The second one, is a circular irrigator, and thus a circular paddock!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm (Spring Walk).
Have a great WW!!
Oh now that’s interesting. Thanks, I’m off to google!
No clue. I’ll be curious to find out (and how they get them so perfect).
Exactly two of the things I want to know.
Someone was having fun! Here’s My Hawaii Wordless
Farms is my guess, ponds etc. I love flying over the prairie provinces of Canada because hte farms look like little patchwork quilts!
Happy WW. Feel free to check out my WW and enter the Spa Gift Card Giveaway while you’re there!
I am not sure either. I love the geometric designs they made though.
Geometric, excellent description.
Not really sure what is in the pictures?!?
They are pictures of designs made in fields that I took from an airplane. I don’t know what they are.
I’m sure it has something to do with farming though I’m not sure how they get it so perfect.
Some of them looked like they were on grass, some not. I was trying to think of what to google to find out and kept thinking of crop circles. LOL.
Looks like designs of fields.
beautiful! not sure what they are.
They were so well made. It’s gt me so curious.
Clearly they were done by a farmer who is also a blogger and was hoping to get their farm linked to online 😉
Cool shots.
Line farming linkbait! Love it!
I do not know what they are, but clearly they should be destroyed.
;->
