A few months ago I became eligible for the 401k plan where I work. I filled out my papers and sent them in and nothing ever came of that. I was told they never got there. The administrating company didn’t seem to care and just advised me to complete the papers again. We just learned that a new company will be administering the plan and we have a mandatory meeting for it in mid-June.So check this out. In April we had a mandatory meeting about our health insurance because our plan changed to a different carrier. Health and 401k are two of three voluntary contributions I agreed to make. The third one is life insurance. I just got confirmation that my hubby has been added to the existing plan this week. So you can understand why I might be concerned that our life insurance policy is going to change. The last thing I want to hear is that we’re changing life insurance companies and hubby won’t have coverage after all because then I’ll have to start getting life insurance quotes and I hate doing that. I hate dealing with life insurance salespeople. I’d rather eat fish. And I don’t eat fish.
