I may still have pain but my incisions are pretty much healed. I’m learning to live with pain and trying to start to live my life again. One of the things I have always enjoyed was laughter. It feels good and it’s good for you. I have seen friends since I got sick but not to ave fun. I want to start having fun again. One of the first things I’m doing is having a Girls Night In, where I’ve invited friends to come over for a screening party of the movie Bridesmaids before the DVD is released. I missed this movie in the theater and heard it was hysterical, so I’m really looking forward to it.
We’ll have beverages and lots of snacks. I’m thinking of going with a mixture of both hot and cold finger foods, as well as chips and dips and other crunchy snacks. I’m looking forward to having a lot of laughs, both while watching the movie and while spending time together. Be sure to check back for my thoughts on the movie and of course, the party.
