I’ve always believed a person is never too old to learn, that education and knowledge are good things, and that it’s a good policy to try and learn something new every day. Earlier this week I had to go to the county Superior Court to represent my job. I’d been to the court once before for work, the week before Christmas. I went that time with the guy from our office who handles our legal matters, so I could observe what I’d need to do when it was time for me to go handle some matters. Well, the time came and I went and I found it all very interesting. So much so that I wondered if it was too late in my life for me to add a little legal education to my background. My employer does offer some tuition reimbursement but it’s for certain job related purposes only. I do have to go again later this month but being as I’m not expecting to have to go very often, I doubt that they’d pay for me to go learn about it. Of course, if I decide I really want to learn more about it I could always consider other options. I have to give this more thought.
