I need a Dymo on my desk

Things in my house can get a little crazy and occasionally even become unorganized. Once the school year starts it gets even worse. I don’t remember my first day of school (presumably because I was four then and I’m old now) but I know that each year the first week TJ is back to school is hectic. TJ’s getting older and has more folders and things he has to have and keep track of. The list of supplies he needed this year was almost a half of a page long. So after I spent a fortune buying it all, I had to spend hours labeling it all so it wouldn’t get lost. Even his gym clothes had to be labeled, since some of those disappeared last year. CJ’s always got some report or something coming home from the school or doctors. And, he has accidents from time to time so we keep extra clothes in school for him. Problem is, many of the kids have extra clothes in school and you can’t always tell whose is whose. One day he came home wearing someone else’s pants. I’m on the PTA board so I have my own paperwork and reports to manage.
I thought I’d be helping myself by getting folders and binders for all of the paperwork. It didn’t dawn on me that I could end up with so many folders and binders that I didn’t know what was inside of what. And of course, they all ended up in one place – on my desk. If I had a Dymo Labelmaker I could just print off some color labels and my problems would be solved. I was on their website and Dymo makes a labelmaker for every need. I myself would buy one of the Personal models, which are very affordable. They can print all sorts of labels including paper, plastic, metallic, magnetic and iron-on. The labels I would find the most helpful are iron on labels for the TJ’s gym clothes and CJ’s extra clothes and the plastic labels for all of these files. Yep, a Labelmaker would make my life much simpler. So, how do you keep things organized?
