Game night is always fun. Pressman Toy and Goliath Games make a lot of classic games that we’ve known and loved for years. They also have games related to more recent interests, including one of my favorites, Harry Potter. I LOVE Harry Potter! The Harry Potter Magical Beasts and Tri-Wizard Maze Tournament games are perfect for all “Potterheads” – old and young! Here are two Harry Potter games that are perfect for game night, along with some other games the family will enjoy as well!
Harry Potter Magical Beasts Game by Pressman
For 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.
Calling all Wizards! Magical beasts have broken loose at Hogwarts. That means you and up to three friends need to save everyone by recapturing these fantastic creatures run amok. Harry Potter Triwizard Maze Game by Pressman
For ages 5 and up, 2-4 players.
Muggles and wizards alike will be enchanted by this magical game! It features fast-action Pop ‘N’ Race play as you race around the Triwizard hedge maze to capture the Triwizard Cup! Be careful – action spaces cause you to draw a card that can help or hurt your chances.
Land on a ‘draw’ space to draw a Maze Card. Will you find a spell to send your opponent to another space on the board, or will a wind gust reveal a shortcut? Cards can help, or hurt, your race through the maze, adding increased excitement and anticipation to the game.

Charades For Kids

Each card has a clue with a picture, so no reading is required (although the combination of the picture and its corresponding word reinforces early reading skills). Younger players can act out a toothbrush, a cat or a bumble bee! Older children can read the simple words and phrases and act out actions like eating spaghetti or playing guitar!
