I am so looking forward to the new season of Gossip girl. Last season opened with Serena and Blair spending their summer vacation in Paris to get their minds off of stuff going on back at home. Now if I could go anywhere with a friend during summer vacation it probably wouldn’t be Paris, it’d probably be more like Walt Disney World and it would be with my friend Ashley. That would surely be a blast but if I were actually on my dream vacation it wouldn’t be during the summer and it wouldn’t be with my friend. (Sorry Ash!) We’re busy during the summer and it’s hot. My dream vacation would be with my family – the hubby and both boys. After the past couple of months we could use a vacation, just to get a break after months of worry and stress. If we could go anywhere I’d like to take a cruise and visit an island somewhere beautiful and warm (but not hot). Maybe Hawaii. Maybe Jamaica. Just as Serena and Blair experienced the food in France, we’d definitely sample lots of delicious foods. We’re pretty casual people so there would be no need for high fashion, but I do think it would be fun to get a sarong, one of those pretty outfits the women wear. We’d sleep in in the mornings and spend the afternoons exploring. It’d be great to spend time people watching and talking to the locals and learn more about the area. In the evening I’m sure we’d be tired, so we could have dinner and then maybe sit on the beach. Of course we’d want a perfect vacation, but I’m sure at lease one little spat or something would come up – they always do, don’t they. Maybe our spat could be on what time we want breakfast in bed delivered…..
