If you’re like me, you like to check out new apps. While generally inexpensive, I still tend to hesitate before I purchase an app. Even if it only cost $0.99. There have been occasions where I spent the money and wound up discovering within minutes that I didn’t like the app at all. So, I have become a bit more cautious about the apps I buy. I found a free app that I’ve grown to love for two reasons – it’s quick and easy to use, and it basically pays me to use it.
Google Opinion Rewards is a free app that lets you answer quick surveys. You receive Google Play credits in exchanges for answering most of the surveys. To sign up for Google Opinion Rewards, all you need is a Google account, a Google Wallet account, and an Android device. First, you download the app from Google Play and install it. Then you connect your credits to your Google Play account.

Once you are signed up and have the app installed you’re ready to go. You’ll receive a notification when there is a new survey to take. Generally I get 2-4 surveys in a week. Surveys have a few simple questions, from 1 or 2 to 10. The questions are multiple choice or yes/no and are really simple. The surveys pay varying amounts, depending on how many questions you answer. I think the lowest I’ve seen is about $0.17 and the highest $1. From time to time you will also see surveys that don’t pay.

Google Opinion Rewards is a great app to use if you like to buy inexpensive apps, movies or books. I love it because it gives me the ability to purchase other apps without actually putting out any money.

Each of my three kids have their own Android tablet, so I would love the opportunity to earn Google Play credits and surprise them. I will definitely be downloading this app!
I’m like you in that I hesitate before buying apps. I just think it’s a slippery slope when you start buying them, but for free? Ya, I could do this and not worry about it!
No–just not into electronics.
I also hesitate before buying apps but this one looks awesome.
Wow! I totally had no idea Google had rewards! That is so cool. Thank you for teaching me something new.
Great tip! There’s nothing better than free stuff!
