Last month my family went on one of its best vacations ever. I believe that one of the reasons this was the case is because of where we stayed.
This is where we stayed.
That is what our Orlando vacation home looked like on the outside.
Let me take you on a tour of the inside of this gorgeous house.
Upon entering the house you find yourself in a living room.
If you continue on downstairs you have the dining room. When we arrived the table was fully set, as though to welcome us in for dinner.
As you enter the kitchen and family area you have a laundry room. We’ll talk about that in tomorrow’s post.
From there you have the family living area. With a large flat screen television and tons of comfy seating it’s the perfect place to wind down after a day in the parks or sightseeing or doing whatever it is you did that day. Or, the perfect place to do nothing and just relax. We’ll be discussing this tomorrow as well.
To the right a bedroom. This one had two twin beds. My Mom has a bad knee and can’t manage stairs well so she and my Dad chose to sleep here. A downstairs bedroom would be a must for us when vacationing with my parents.
And a bathroom. This was Mom and Dad’s bathroom, as well as the bathroom we all used when hanging out downstairs. So this was actually the bathroom that got used the most.
To the left the kitchen. I fell in love with this kitchen. It was beautiful. It made me want to redo my own kitchen at home. Not only did the kitchen look good, it was fully stocked with everything except food. Pots. Pans. Dishes. Silverware. Glasses. Mixing bowls. You name it, if it belonged in a kitchen it was there.
Out the back door there is a pool and spa. We got in really late on the first night and that was still the first place that my son and his girlfriend wanted to go.
That’s all of downstairs. Already probably more living space than I have at home.
On to the upstairs.
After climbing the staircase turning left you find a bathroom. I loved the way it was decorated, colorful and beachlike.
The next room was the blue bedroom. My boys slept here.
Followed by the green bedroom. TJ’s girlfriend slept here.
Followed by the orange bedroom, which had a bathroom. My brother LB2 slept here. And sometimes my youngest CJ.
Now if you went back to the stairs and went the other way, here’s what you’d find.
The gold bedroom. Our family friend, my brother from another mother, slept here.
And then the master suite.
With bedroom. We slept here. Sometimes CJ did too. (He really made the rounds, in case you couldn’t tell. We’ll discuss that tomorrow too)
And bathroom. And what a bathroom it was.
In case you weren’t counting, 4 bathrooms. (Yes, more to discuss tomorrow.) There were 6 bedrooms. The house sleeps 12. Actually, I have no doubt that the house could sleep more than 12. Easily.
Today I’ve shown you the house. Tomorrow I’m going to tell you why our vacation home in Orlando was such a big factor in the great time we had.
For now, I want to again give a big thanks to Global Resort Homes, for helping us have one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had!

I wish my house had a big shower and jacuzzi.
Looks like a great house to stay in (I wish it was mine). I have wanted a hot tub for years.
What a nice vacation home! I stay on Disney property, but have heard alot about the vacation homes near there that area reasonably priced!!
