Free outdoor movies at the Jersey shore scheduled for Summer 2019. List includes locations in Monmouth County and Ocean County, NJ.
It doesn’t matter if you live at the Jersey shore or are visiting, if you’re there with family in the summer it’s a safe bet that you’ll find yourself looking for some affordable family fun. There’s plenty of free family fun to be in Monmouth and Ocean Counties if you know where to look. Quite a few towns offer outdoor movies during the summer season. I’ve compiled a list of all of the free outdoor movies scheduled for Summer 2019 at the Jersey shore and am sharing it here with you.
Seeing a movie with the family under the stars on a beautiful summer evening is a memory you don’t want to miss out on making. Bring along blankets or low back chairs and your family’s favorite snacks and enjoy quality family time that doesn’t break the bank.
I’ve included the trailers for most of the more recent movies, you’ll find them listed alphabetically after the movie dates.
Since things can change due to weather and whatnot you should check each individual venue to confirm the location and date (or rain date) of the movie. Remember that outdoor movies are WEATHER PERMITTING so if the sky looks questionable doublecheck with the venue.

I love the idea of this, I’ve never been to an outdoor screening before – is it noisy? can you still hear the film?
I have never seen a movie outdoors, but I bet it is an amazing experience! I would love to just sit out on a nice day and watch a favourite. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to make it this sounds like a great summer event.
