When your baby is just beginning to crawl or learning to walk, it is so nice to have a safe, soft place for them to practice their new skills! I am a new grandmother and I often babysit young children, so, I was thrilled to have the chance to choose some soft, play mats from Foam Tiles large inventory!
FoamTiles.com
Foam Tiles has so many different choices for almost any flooring need you may have. I was intrigued by the world map soft foam tiles and the alphabet and numbers ones. I read all the customer reviews and decided to choose an allergen free tile so I would know my grand daughter and any of my friend’s children would be on the safest mat possible.
The ones I chose are high quality and are double-sided. They are reversible tiles that have a different color on each side. The design possibilities are almost endless with the color choices available! I went with two different tiles that would be great for boys or girls. I chose 6 tiles that were yellow on one side and pink on the other and 6 tiles that were black on one side and gray on the other.

The ½ inch designer tiles I chose retail for $1.19 per square foot. Each tile is 2 square feet, or $4.76 each tile. With 12 tiles, I can cover a large area, 24 square feet, enough to make a playroom a soft, welcoming area! For less than $60, this is a very nice addition to any play area! I have 2 sons and 1 daughter that are school teachers. These tiles are great for a reading area in a classroom!
Foam Tiles has free shipping and they ship out the same or next day. My order arrived in only a few days and when it came, I asked my 4 year old friend, Atticus, to help me set them up. Atticus had such a fun time putting together the tiles and choosing a pattern that I actually didn’t even help him! If a 4 year old can put these together by himself, you know the set up is easy, right?

When he was finished, he let his one year old brother, Phineas, try it out. Finny was getting ready for a nap, but had a fun time crawling around on the tiles for a few minutes and playing with some toys. Finny is just about ready to walk. It was nice to know that if he fell, it would be on a soft, allergen free surface.

The tiles are easy to put together and take apart. They can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. I am very happy with my tiles and can’t wait to try them out with my 7 month old grand-daughter!
Why don’t you go to FoamTiles.com and look at all the different styles, come back here and tell me your favorite?
