As most of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sharpie is kicking off their second annual Ink It Pink campaign with City Of Hope, a leading research, treatment and education center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Now thru the end of October, Sharpie is challenging people to ink it in pink to help in the fight against breast cancer. For every signature submitted to sharpie.com during the month of October, Sharpie will donate $1 to City of Hope.
Rock artist Grace Potter kicked off the campaign by signing autographs for her fans in pink on September 24, during her band’s concert in New York City’s Central Park. Here’s video with more details on the cause from Grace Potter herself, in behind the scenes footage of her NYC concert in Central Park.
Go ahead and ink it in pink yourself and help the cause!
