We’d found out earlier yesterday that the refrigerator wasn’t working, but we were making do. I didn’t buy anything that had to be kept cold except a pound of sliced colby jack cheese that I love and can’t get at home. I kept that in the refrigerator of my parents’ motor home. I went to bed at midnight last night and woke up to an odd noise at about 4am this morning. I awoke to darkness and no television. I couldn’t get the television to go back on. I couldn’t get my lights on. I laid awake most of the night, sure that the trailer was going to burst into flames or something, finally giving in to exhaustion somewhere around 7 am. Dad came over before we left for the race and it appears there is now a problem with all electric in the trailer. So we’re running the tv from an extension cord from his camper. The laptop can’t be charged, so I’m not going to be able to write much more tonight. It isn’t looking likely I’ll be making many more trips in this trailer, if any.

Ann – I do believe the trailer has made it’s last trip for us.
