I like Doc McStuffins. It’s just a nice show. I love that theshow both encourges imagination like playing with stuffed animals, but also that it encourages a vision of real work and a place in the world, like being a doctor. Doc’s role model is her Mom, a doctor, and she wants to be like her. Doc plays with her toys and takes care of them, much like you and I did and now our kids do. Her patients all have a minor sickness or illness, there’s no scary disease. But what they do have that’s scary is the common apprehensions that we had and our children now have, things like fear of pain, seeing the doctor, stuff like that. This DVD is terrific for young kids, it’s very positive.
Here’s a film clip called The Doc Mobile.
And another film clip called Stay Calm.

I loved my stuffed animals. As a child I played with them constantly, talking to them, changing their clothes, and of course bringing some to bed with me when it was time to go to sleep. When I moved to New Hampshire for two years one of the few things that I brought with me was two large black trash bags of stuffed animals. I had a number of favorites over the years, but one of my all time faves was a very old Pooh (approximately 1970 if I had to guess) that my Mom gave me and I still have to this day. I still have a good number of them, I just can’t bear to let them go.

My son loves her. I like her shows – it’s wholesome goodness for all and all her little friends are so darling!
My granddaughter loves Doc McStuffins! She has the doll, and the Lambie doll too. I know she would love this movie!
Just watched the railer with my 6 year old. She gave it a thumbs up…good enough for me 🙂
My daughter is going to love this for her daughter.
Oh yes! Especially their stuffed dogs as we aren’t getting a dog yet 😉
Our Sophie loved this show. She still plays this. This would be a great Easter basket gift for her!
My girls play with their stuffed animals all the time, but they like their Disney stuffed friends the most.
My son is obsessed with Doc! He wants to be a doctor when he grows up and he loves his toys so this is one of his absolute favorite shows. I need to pick up this DVD!
I like interactive play more that VR for all kids.
We’ve never watch Doc, but I heat great thibgs. Thank you for sharing… I’ll have to check it out for my daughter’s birthday!
We watch a lot of the Doc. In fact my son like to act like her so I know he would love this DVD.
I have to admit I’m addicted to Doc just like the kids. She’s so stinkin’ cute and reminds me of my childhood trying to fix my stuffies.
This sounds like a really cute idea for an Easter basket gift!
