My Mom has a hope chest full of photographs. Finding something specific is next to impossible. I know that she enjoys seeing many of them but doesn’t get to very often because of how tedious it is to go through them all. I think she’d love to be able to see her favorite old photographs in a digital frame. I think it would help revive and preserve the memories for her. I found a nice deal on a Pandigital Photolink Scanner that looks like it would be very useful in making something like this happen for her.
This is a sheetfed scanner that will scan wallet to size 4×6 photographs and let you put them on a memory card, all without ever using a computer. You can view the scanned photos from your memory card, either in a digital frame or on your computer. The scanner comes with a 512mb SD memory card and saves scanned images as 1800 x 1200 ultra-high resolution JPEG files.
The Pandigital Photolink Scanner w/Card Reader (#PANSCN02) regularly sells for $129.99. It’s currently on sale for $39.99 and qualifies for free shipping.
