Crayola chalk
As a little girl I always loved Crayola products. The big yellow box with all the pretty colors. Who am I kidding, I still love Crayola to this day. In fact, every year for Christmas my mother-in-law gives me markers or crayons. I don’t mind. I still love to color at almost 30! Now that I am a mommy, my son and I are always creating artwork. When Crayola asked me to review some of their products, I was so happy to say yes!
Crayola sent me a big box of goodies. Here’s what I received.

All of these products would have been perfect for making homemade Easter cards and filling children’s Easter baskets. I didn’t get them in time to do that, but there are plenty of other fun projects they can be used for. Making cards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, for example. Or congratulations cards for a sibling graduating. There’s no limit to what you can do with all of these Crayola products.

I could not wait to use the sidewalk chalk. Look at all those colors! They are amazing! We have off name brand chalk here. The dull colors just do not compare to Crayola’s. My 2 year old has fun with chalk, but usually ends up breaking all the chalk in half, chasing it down the driveway, and covered head to toe. The weather here in Ohio has been chilly and rainy. On our first nice day in a long while, we headed out to test out this chalk. The Crayola chalk has flat edges to prevent it from rolling away. I love this. It stays put. You can create thin or thick lines with this chalk. We had so much fun even hubby couldn’t resist getting in on this! It rained again that night and all our pretty artwork washed away.

While outside we decided to also test out the color bubbles. I received the color Ka-Bluey blue. My 2 year old LOVES bubbles and blue is his favorite color. To say he was excited is an understatement. He really wanted me to try them out inside because he just could not wait for the rain to go away. The colored bubbles are for outdoor use only. They wash of skin and most surfaces. While he had fun running around chasing the bubbles he could not blow them. He is still only 2 and they were dripping all over. Little man does NOT like his hands dirty. We’ll let him try another time. For now he’s pretty happy chasing around the bright blue bubbles.

As I said early little man does not like his hands dirty. He loves to use magic markers but always makes a mess. Just a few weeks ago we had a little mishap. There was blue marker all over him, the walls, and the brand new carpet. You know, everywhere except the paper. LOL. Thank goodness for the ultra clean Crayola markers. It washed off of everything including my son’s hands with just a baby wipe. To avoid all that mess the color wonder markers work great! They only color on their “magic” paper. My son had fun watching the colors appear on the paper. The mini stow and go was perfect for our hour long drive to Cleveland the other day. He was busy coloring and no mess if he dropped a marker on his clothes or floor. This product is wonderful. I just have to make sure I stock up on the color wonder paper!
The only product I couldn’t not get little man to participate in was the obstacle course. I think he’s just too young and would rather color on the sidewalk. No worries, I put it away and will pull it out in a few weeks to see how he does with it then. I was so pleased with all these products. Little man and I are excited to add some color to our summer with all these great Crayola products!

  1. I love Crayola products. WE tried buying some cheap crayons once and I could definitely tell the cheap ones from the crayola ones. I need to get my son some sidewalk chalk. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love Crayola products. I have never seen the My First Crayola Scribbled Egg Crayons before. I will have to remember those when I am looking for a gift for that age group. They would be so easy for the little ones to handle.

  3. We just bought a few of these the other day and spent the entire afternoon outside playing and drawing all over the driveway. Of course the rain today erased everything but that just means more art tomorrow.

  4. Who doesn’t love Crayola? I remember my disappointment at its Easton, PA plant not being able to tour BUT the nice people there did allow my two youngest to do so. I still color a bit.

  5. I love Crayola products and it’s really the only one I buy when it’s back to school time. I have some of the sidewalk chalk and can’t wait for late spring/summer.
