The classic Etch A Sketch turned 55 this year! I remember as a little girl loving my Etch A Sketch. I couldn’t resist giving this Etch A Sketch a test! It is exactly the way I remembered it. So excited for my little guy to have one. He will get a kick out of knowing mommy had the same when she was his age. I love how the Etch A Sketch encourages using your imagination and getting creative. It is small in size and requires no batteries making it perfect for trips in the car. It will make a perfect gift for anyone of any age.
Powered entirely by imagination, the Etch A Sketch drawing toy has earned its place in the National Toy Hall of Fame as an educational toy that stimulates and challenges kids of all ages, while also naturally improving hand-eye coordination and visual motor skills. With the classic Etch A Sketch®, children can twist and turn to create pictures. Just turn both the horizontal or vertical knobs and watch the magic screen as lines begin to form. It’s easy to draw, all it takes is a steady hand and a creative spark. No batteries, No problem. When finished, just shake it and start the fun all over again. Always portable, the 6.25 x 4.5 inch screen is perfect for home or on the go.

Etch a Sketch is the coolest thing ever. Talk about a toy that’s stood the test of time. I used to have one, my daughter had one, and I’m sure her daughter will, too.
You really just can’t go wrong with an Etch a Sketch. I think I will get one, I know my youngest (and probably my teen!) will love it.
This is a classic gift. Everyone loves theirs no matter what age!
My son has one and loves it, just like I did when I was a kid 🙂
I too loved Etch-a-Sketch as did each and all of my kids.
Oh my goodness. I loved my Etch a Sketch when I was a kid. 🙂
