Ok, can I just say that I love Care Bears?! Care Bears and Cousins is another Netflix series that is doing a great job! It is a fun, happy show that teaches children that kindness and good deeds are important characteristics to have.
When I went off to college, my Mom mailed me a huge yellow Sunshine Care Bear to cheer me up. I loved that bear and looking at it always brought a smile to my face. Watching this DVD brought the same smile to my face!
There is a grumpy bear that tries to ruin the day, but he is not big, scary and evil looking like some of the other “bad” characters I have seen on other kid’s shows. I like that this series is full of good character building lessons and lots of sweetness! It is something I look forward to watching with my grandchildren. In fact, my copy will be tucked inside of my 2 year old grand daughter, Ava’s Easter basket in just a few weeks!
Do you have a special little one that you’d like to share some fun and great lessons about love, jealousy, kindness and keeping promises? I think this DVD would be the perfect gift! I may just go out and buy one to keep at my house!
I didn’t know Care Bears was on Netflix. I have my granddaughter next weekend, I’m going to look for it and play it for her. She’s just now starting to enjoy tv shows once in awhile!
My girls LOVE care bears. They are so cute and the shows always have some kind of lessons.
