Electronic readers are becoming more and more popular. Now there are even themed readers available, allowing people to enjoy reading and show their love for something. Most recently I saw an Eat, Pray Love Sony Reader Pocket bundle, which is a limited edition bundle that includes a silver Reader Pocket Edition, the Eat Pray Love movie premiere and codes for eBook downloads of Eat, Pray, Love and Committed.
I’ve mentioned the Sony Reader Pocket before. I gave my Mom one last year and it’s a really nice unit. The Reader Pocket is small and light, weighing in at about 7 ounces. There is a built in 5” display that has 8 levels of grayscale. The reader to choose from three adjustable font size, to make reading most comfortable for them. This reader has 512mb of built in menmory and can hold about 350 books at a time. Books are widely available, you can buy them from the Sony eBook store, borrow them from public libraries or download them from Google Books, which has more than one million free public domain titles. The Reader Pocket charges by USB, also used to transfer books. A single battery charge lasts about two weeks or approximately 7,500 page turns.
The Sony Eat Pray Love Pocket Edition Digital Text Reader Bundle is currently on sale for $149.00 and qualifies for free shipping. If you’re looking for a gift for someone who enjoys reading, a gadget lover, or a student going off to college, this might make a nice gift.
