“Lilo and Stitch” is the story of Lilo, a lonely little girl, and Stitch the mischievous little creature from outer space. When Stitch crash-lands in Hawaii, Lilo adopts him as her pet, but he soon turns her world upside down. Stitch takes Hawaii by storm, wreaking havoc and hanging ten while he evades the alien bounty hunters who are after him, and also learning about loyalty and friendship. Featuring six original Elvis Presley songs, “Lilo and Stitch” is fun for the entire family.
The laughter continues in the hysterical sequel “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.” As Stitch settles into life with his human family it appears his molecular makeup is out of whack and his friendship with Lilo is threatened as a result. Lilo and her friends must find a way to restore his “goodness” level before he ruins everything, including Lilo’s big hula competition – the same competition her mother won years before.
Discover that “ohana” means family, and celebrate the unbreakable bonds of friendship like never before with these two unforgettable movies on Disney Blu-ray for the first time!

MY THOUGHTS
I hadn’t seen Lilo & Stitch prior to receiving this Blu-ray, but had heard about it many times. Lilo is a young Hawaiian orphan girl, whose sister Nani helps care for her. She’s unique, which means she isn’t exactly readily accepted by the other girls her age. Lilo goes through her day to day life behaving oddly and wishing for a forever friend that will accept her for who she is. Stitch is an alien that is also programmed to make trouble. Stitch escaped from his planet and wound up landing on Earth in Hawaii. Lilo finds Stitch in an animal shelter and adopts him as a pet. Once taken in, Stitch wreaks havoc in everyone’s lives, especially the lives of Lilo and her sister, until his programming is reversed and he begins to be domesticated. Through the chaos the girls risk the displeasure of the social worker, but learn what the true definition of family is. There is a lot of music in the movie.
Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch features the same main characters Lilo & Stitch. A little time has passed and Stitch has grown into a beloved family member. Stitch’s programming reverts back to the way it was when he first arrived on Earth – troublesome and destructive. Not only does his behavior interfere with his friendship with Lilo, but it also risks her chances of winning a big hula contest, which happens to be the same contest that her dead mother won years before.
Both of these movies are very colorful with lots of humor and music. It wouldn’t be a big surprise if they become your new family favorite.
Here’s a clip called Elvis.
